A Little Bit about me
I grew up in Somerset, to non horsey parents and was introduced to horses through a friend at school. From having a sit on my friend’s horse I was hooked and began working for Sarah Steather, a local event rider. I worked on the weekends, after school and during school holidays. In return for mucking out and generally working on the yard I was given riding lessons and occasionally went to competitions.
How I got here
Upon leaving school I was offered the opportunity to work for Matt Ryan an established International event rider, I primarily worked on producing young horses and travelling to competitions. I then went on to work on a number of professional yards including Deborah Fielding, Kitty King and Tristram Owers, again assisting with the young horses and schooling. I also rode for Phillip Tuckwell. I changed discipline on meeting Spencer in 2013 and haven’t looked back.
And Now?
I have a small team of dressage horses, which I hope to expand over the next couple of years & would love to have a successful string of competition horses at top level and to represent my country at major team events.
I’m based in my own 10 box yard at Cotswold Club Equestrian which has 5* facilities for me to offer.
